GitHub repo for the program
I made a GitHub repo to house live stock data collected during the day. Tomorrow will be it's second live day.
Very legal and very cool

Hey everyone,
As promised you can access the program that I am using to find trending stocks and live sentiment here.
The repository can mainly be used for two things.
a. Tracking the live sentiment of stocks from Reddit and Twitter
b. Tracking the number of mentions for particular tickers in Reddit and Twitter
You would need access to Reddit and Twitter API for my program to work. Both are free and the access can be obtained in one day. Please note that just getting the number of mentions and their increase is just the first step. Please do your own extensive research before investing in any stocks. I hope that this program will help in your investing journey :)
If you are too lazy to do the work yourself I analyze trending stocks in r/market_sentiment. Check it out if you are interested! Happy trading!

Hi everyone,
Full disclosure, the program I use as an example here, was indeed built by a friend of mine, however, I have been trading options since 1989 and still trade on the CME trading floor even now. I happen to use the system simply because I think it is the best out there. I do not care if you go there or use it. I will not mention its name in my posts, I honestly don't care. I am here for a simple reason, to 'pay it forward". I have seen so many bullshit promises out there it makes me want to puke. Tips that are shit and will only get you in trouble. All I want to do is to suggest trades that have a better chance for you making money and most importantly, reduce risk.
Anyway, to start off this week we have Gitlab. Now I quite like this formation and see no reason why the trend shouldn't continue to retest some of those old Fib levels
So I have decided to run 2 upside targets, the first, looking for a May expiration
Looking for $91 but giving myself some wiggle room between $87 and $95 at around 75 days out. BB1 came up with the following list;
In this instance I have chosen the 2nd one on the list, just because it has a slightly larger landing pad
It sits in its 30th percentile so a little undervalued too.
Looks good on the heatmap....
The 2nd run I did was to target a little higher, at the $104 area but giving myself a lot longer timeframe...well I say "a lot", September...
200 days to run
On this one I have gone for a more unconventional FLy but given it is top of the overall list
Has a lovely looking heat map, even a good return if you get the direction right early
A quick mention to any of you wishing to purchase any OTM options with a shorter expiration, look at the table below...that is why you get crushed on an IV dump, the front moths will lose all that premium over the backs in an instant
and remember, always rather be lucky than be good.
Coming from a finance background, I've always been interested in trading & investing. As I switch to tech and data for my career, I wanted to create my very first DE project that combines these two interests of mine:https://github.com/hieuimba/stock-mkt-dashboard
I'm proud of how it turned out and I would appreciate any feedback & improvement ideas! Also, where do I go from here? I want to get my hands on larger datasets and work with more complex tools so how do I expand given my existing stack?
