What is USPS Global Express Guaranteed?
USPS GXG is the fastest international shipping service offered by the United States Postal Service. It delivers to over 180 countries, with most packages arriving in 1 to 3 business days. This service is ideal for urgent deliveries, and includes tracking and a money-back guarantee on eligible shipments.
Can you track USPS Priority Mail Express International packages?
Tracking is automatically included when using USPS Priority Mail Express International. You’ll receive a tracking number when the package is shipped, which allows you to see real-time updates online. This includes package origin, transit checkpoints, customs status, and the estimated delivery window.
How to track your package
You can enter the tracking number on the USPS website under the "Track a Package" section. If you prefer to track across multiple couriers or want additional delivery notifications, platforms like Ship24 offer a way to follow your shipment more closely.
How long does USPS Priority Mail Express International take?
This service typically delivers packages within 3 to 5 business days. It's available to more than 180 countries, including Canada, Mexico, the UK, and Australia.
Delivery times may vary depending on customs clearance, local postal services, and holidays. With tracking enabled, you’ll be able to see when delays occur and when your package reaches key checkpoints.
Hi everyone,
I hope you and your families are safe and healthy. For the USPS employees out there (thank you for your service!), I have a few questions regarding Global Express Guaranteed (GXG):
I know it is a partnership between USPS and Fed-Ex and the package's origination is with USPS - I went into a post-office to complete the transaction. At what point does Fed-Ex get involved? Does USPS tender the item to Fed-Ex immediately (e.g., after reaching a USPS distribution center), does the item fly on a USPS plane overseas and then gets tendered to the overseas Fed-Ex branch, or somewhere else along the process?
Is there a Fed-Ex tracking number for GXG parcels? I only have a USPS tracking number.
I mailed some legal documents to my attorney in Taiwan. I filled out a Commercial Invoice even though I didn't have to (per Publication 141 because I was only sending documents) but I didn't really complete all the required sections in the CI - I only filled in my and the recipient's contact information on the F6182. Wondering if anyone knows whether that will come back to bite me in the butt?
Any insights would be greatly appreciated!
