r/EtsySellers on Reddit: GlobalPost anyone?
October 18, 2021 -
So, I've been using GlobalPost for all International orders (through stamps.com) but for the life of me cannot find an appropriate way to track it in Etsy. I had been using USPS but it just stays in Pre-Transit status even after the item is delivered. Does anyone else use GlobalPost and if so, any advice?

I know this post is super old. I too am using globalpost through stamps.com (not through Etsy though). Any chance you had a positive experience and your buyer received their package? I’m waiting for a second tracking from globalpost and keep reading horror stories so I’m super nervous.

For anyone reading this post later, It's like ebay global shipping, one number is to track the item delivery to their consolidation centre where it's handed to USPS, the other is for USPS to Canada or wherever else is final destination. Now for my GlobalPost item to Canada, it's only been a USPS "LV.........US" tracking format number, trackable in US as it tours the country with multiple stopovers in LA, not even handed off to USPS yet.

What are GlobalPost and the Global Advantage Program (GAP)? | ShippingEasy
October 17, 2023 - Instead of shipping orders directly to your desired destination, GlobalPost and GAP help you create a domestic label that is scanned in by USPS and then sent to a processing facility. Once there, your shipment will be scanned in, where the appropriate customs forms will be applied, and your shipment will be sent to its intended destination.
