I forgot the password for my main Gmail account. Please help! I never set my alternate email address but a recovery phone number only and when I try to recover my Gmail account, it sends me a verification code to my phone which should be enough but after that, it sends me another verification code to my same Gmail contact email address I lost 3 days ago. I even tried to use the recovery method of forgetting passwords on my two other Gmail accounts where it asks for the verification code sent to the phone only for both Gmail accounts including the one I'm using on mobile and the one I just created after losing my main acc set on PC and verifying with recovery phone codes instantly gives me an option to enter a new password window :(
I tried to Google one subscription-based support live chat but still no help as they said the password recovery process is the only method to prove ownership where it sounds like I'm completely out of luck as I never set any recovery or alternate email but a recovery phone only and after verifying with my phone, I don't get any other option but Google sends another verification code to my same contact email address and upon clicking "try another option" I get the message saying: "Google couldn't verify you"!
I have access to this phone number. I can't recover my mail password via sms by phone number. I logged in from the device that was logged in this account, I waited another 10 days, and did not touch the account, but I now tried to log in to the account, recovering the password by phone number, I received a code, I entered it, and then I was told to enter the code that came to the mail, to which I do not have access. Why is it so, I entered the code from the SMS, why does it ask for the code from almost which I am trying to restore? Why should I restore it at all if I have access to it according to them, it is logical that if I restore the password by phone number, then I do not have access to this mail.
