A few options: Cygwin is probably the way to go. A POSIX layer in a single native Win32/64 .dll (and toolchain). Msys2 , a fork of Cygwin (minus the Msys2SDK itself) uses MinGW64 underneath so doesn't have all the Linux / glibc functionality. However it will be a native Win32/64 executable. WSL/SFU would require you to deploy the entire subsystem just to run your program. WSL2 would require you to deploy the entire Hyper-V based subsystem to run your program. Alternatively, if you are fairly familiar with POSIX/BSD, you might be able to grab just the small shim for the functions you need from i.e: https://github.com/PowerShell/openssh-portable/tree/latestw_all/openbsd-compat That way you can keep with your current toolchain. Type sudo apt install g++ into your terminal and enter your password. This will download and install g++ on your computer assuming you're running Ubuntu or a similar Linux distro. On Arch Linux it would be sudo pacman -S gcc (on Arch the gcc package includes both the C and C++ compiler, on Ubuntu they're separate packages). If you're on macos, you can probably get it with home brew, but you probably just want to stick with clang (unless you have a specific reason to prefer g++). If you're asking where to download the sources, pick one of the mirrors on the GNU site and then go to gcc/releases/gcc-11.1.0/gcc-11.1.0.tar.xz (if you want another version than 11.1.0, adjust accordingly, of course).
