You can keep your domain registered at GoDaddy and move your site to another hosting provider. You will need to update your DNS configuration to point the domain to the new site. You can pay for basic hosting from a myriad of providers, and most shared hosting accounts will be the same. If you want a dedicated server, I'd go with AWS, but that will dramatically increase your hosting costs if you don't know what you're doing. I have my domains registered at GoDaddy as they are fairly cheap, I don't have to worry as much about them going down, and most businesses use them (it makes transfer really easy) plus they have a relationship with Afternic to sell unused domains. But I don't use them for SSL or hosting. And the marketing service they offer is a load of shit. I use Hostinger and AWS to host my sites. AWS has a cheap option called Lightsail, but you really need to know what you're doing to use it. If you don't, go with a shared hosting provider such as Hostinger or Bluehost. I'm not recommending one because they are all basically the same. I use Let's Encrypt for my SSL certs because they are free and auto renew every 90 days if you add their module to your server or if your host has their toolset installed. If I absolutely need a commercial SSL cert, I go to Comodo and get theirs. It is very rare that I have to do this though. You do not have to have everything at a single stop shop. You are most likely getting screwed by doing that in this instance. More on reddit.com
