Congrats! Both are great but personally I would pick G b/c of the wlb. I would want to spend a bit more time for myself outside of work, especially considering there’s a lot to do in London. I also hate Angular, but work is work anyways. On the other hand Meta might be fun b/c it’s in its huge transition towards metaverse. If you want to experience that(both confusion and excitement), this might be the best time to join. May I ask if you’re the returning intern for Google though? I thought Google London only hires new grads for Androids and ones who’ve used C++ and Java, no? “Software Engineer, University Graduate, Android (2022)” is the only position I’ve seen for Google London. And yet you’ve been mentioning Angular, so I was wondering if you’re gonna do FE, or if you’ve applied to just normal position(not university graduate) and got accepted. More on reddit.com

You can (and should) negotiate. They're most flexible on stocks and signing bonus. (They might tell you there is no signing bonus, but they can definitely make it happen if needs be). Idk what the standard offer is for Google in London, maybe levels.fyi would have something. You could see about interviews with some trading firms if you want to give Google a run for their money. Google is notorious for down leveling people, and with 2YOE it's likely they will offer you L3. But that's just guessing. I don't know the exact numbers for Google London, but 80-90k TC should be reasonable without sign on. For comparison, Meta London was offering a few years ago around 90k TC + up to 25k sign on, so Google should be around that as well. Breakdown back then was 60k base, 5% bonus, 120-180k USD / 4 in RSUs. Google should be able offer something like that or not much lower, but take it with a grain of salt, never worked at Google London. Use Levels for reference, but keep in mind that with numbers for people who are at the company for a few years there are usually refreshers and base pay rises involved, so it's not very exact.
