September 12, 2025 - Google Ads aren't just for conversions—they can also generate high-quality leads. In this example, HubSpot is targeting the keyword "crm app" to tell users about their free plan. The idea, of course, is to bring users in and upsell them on additional features in their paid plans.

12 Eye-Catching Google Ads Examples (+Takeaway Tips)
August 24, 2022 - For example, for the same query above, there’s an ad by Zoho that reads “Best Customer Service Software – AI to Deduct User Sentiments.” Now that’s a unique selling point. It stands out to me. The ad could be even stronger if there was more about this feature in the description, but then again, my intrigue is driving me to click. On the other end of the spectrum, we have this Google ad example by Thesis that’s banking on benefits to drive clicks.

Where can I find nice examples of the different Ad types - from all top platforms (Google, Facebook, IG etc...)
You can try AdEspresso for ad examples. Maybe r/marketing ? Websites I like to frequent are ppchero, searchenginejournal, searchenginewatch, and searchengineland. My favorites being ppchero.com and searchengineland.com . More on reddit.com

Google Ads and Small Business a "client email example"

Hey man, it sucks that you are not getting any engagement on this because this is exactly what I needed and I’m sure plenty of other people need this to but don’t want to put in the time to actually read it and comment. I’m about to start my journey in PPC ads in two weeks after I get back from a trip. I’d love to chat sometime. DM me if you’re down. I know I would definitely find it valuable.

2021 Google Ads Campaign Structure Ideas Updated

STAGs: Single Theme Ad Group

SKAGs are dead, Google has made too many changes to keyword match types that it's no longer practical for SKAGs to be used account-wide (they should be used only in rare examples where a single search term is doing significantly well in both volume and CPA). This is copied from another post of mine:

Let's say for example my client offers a training platform for sales teams to use. I will have different campaigns for different solutions offered:

  • Sales Training

  • Sales Enablement

  • Sales Onboarding

But within those campaigns, I will segment keywords into different ad groups by intent. One ad group would utilize multiple different keywords:

  • "sales training platforms"

  • "sales training solutions"

  • "sales training software"

  • "best sales training platforms"

If I start to notice that any of the above phrase match keywords is performing well the search term matches via exact match, I would add in the exact match keyword to the same ad group, because it's the same intent. I'd also stack my bid if using manual bidding or eCPC, such that longer-tail keywords and more-restrictive match types have higher bids.

July 31, 2024 - Let’s say I wanted to run a Google Ad for the keyword “RTA cabinets”. I’m going to need to use that keyword once in the headline, twice in the description and link to a page that specifically talks about RTA cabinets and actually has that exact keyword show up multiple times. This however is only half of what determines quality score. Another huge factor is the actual human interaction with your Google Ad and the page you link to.

August 13, 2024 - Display ads appear on websites within the Google Display Network (GDN). They’re less noticeable, especially if you’re tuned into the content you’re reading. Take examples like this MongoDB Atlas’s ad, which has a bright green box that features its promise: “Get your ideas to market faster.”
