r/PPC on Reddit: Can I have examples of 10/10 ad copy (3 headlines + 2 descriptions) for Google Ads?
June 17, 2025 -

I’m working on the ad copy for this campaign and nothing has quite worked so far. I want this last ad copy I write to be the last that I need to write for a while, but I was hoping to find some examples of absolutely perfect ad copy. I think what I’m writing is great, but it’s not performing well on a Keyword basis (although the daily campaign CTR is still average to above average). So obviously it’s not actually great.

So what’s some actual great ad copy so I can read it and use that as inspiration?

Google Responsive Search Ads Updates: One Line Headlines, More Headline/Description Options & Account Level Access

You can now have the option to associate up to three headlines and two descriptions at the campaign level. "If you need to show these assets during a specific time period, such as a sale, you’ll be able to schedule specific start and end dates for them. You’ll also have the option to pin these assets to specific positions. Once you’ve added your headlines and descriptions, they’ll be eligible to show in every responsive search ad in your campaign," Google explained.

r/PPC on Reddit: [Recommendation] Looking for example Google Ads copy for local service businesses
February 8, 2024 -

I’m looking for headline and description examples that I can adapt for my Google Ads campaigns. Ideally CTR tested and tailored for local service businesses.

Instead of starting from scratch, I’m hoping bigger and better advertisers already have some tried and true copy I can start from. Guessing that someone out there is offering this as a lead magnet or for sale somewhere.

For context, I run ads for a local business with tiny budgets. Efforts to compare CTRs between headlines and to optimize my own copy is almost pointless since my click volume is so low and I’m miles away from any statistical significance.
