I want to browse great examples of video ads
Hey! I have very little experience with Google Ads but Can you run video ads on YouTube based on searches made on google?
I wouldn’t recommend starting with YouTube ads if you’re new to Google Ads. Start with search campaigns, get to grips with those first. YouTube ads can be more advanced stuff to fine-tune and are prone for burning money and achieving little results - a lot of people use them for brand awareness more than anything.
Give me a shout if you have any more questions, happy to help :)

One thing to keep in mind is not to advertise any videos that you want to rank well in search/related videos/homepage etc - from what I've heard, once you've promoted one of your videos with AdWords, YouTube basically stops any form of free promotion for that video (like search, homepage, etc).
...So it's better to use it for dedicated gateway videos. Dedicated videos that bring viewers to your channel and encourage them to watch your other videos. Rather than using it on existing popular videos, as it'll basically kill your SEO rankings.
I haven't used it yet myself but I recall Derral Eves talking about this recently in one of his presentations, and explaining which videos you DO want to advertise vs which ones you don't.

Does anyone know where, other than just finding ads in the wild, I can browse video ads?
I'm specifically interested in screen recording style ads, the sort that don't look like a production company made them but that are snappy (about 30 seconds) and do a great job at showing just the meaning/value.
