Google Antigravity's rate limits are changing amid 'incredible' demand
3 weeks ago - Antigravity now uses a weekly-based rate limit for free users. Google says this change is intended to "minimize hitting rate limits quickly during a project." So, instead of needing to spread out work on a project across multiple hours and days ...

The Kicker: It completely ignores your subscription tier. -> Oh really? That's why it felt so restrictive I guess? Can't even finish a feature without running out. More on reddit.com

Google Antigravity usage limits per model & subscription plan (Free, AI Plus, AI Pro, AI Ultra)
There is a reason why they don't want to disclose the limit. This is because they are constantly adjusting the limit based on the overall usage from everyone depending on their allocated TPU power. More on reddit.com

2 weeks ago - For a sense of the economics, see Google Gemini 3 developer documentation and related model insights from The Verge. Feature gating: free/basic get the core editor: higher tiers unlock custom style guides, API access, or bulk operations. If Antigravity follows this pattern, expect a starter plan in the $10–$20/month range for individuals, a Team plan somewhere between $25–$40/user/month, and usage add-ons when you hammer it with long documents or batch jobs.

November 19, 2025 - Antigravity states that the quota will be reset every five hours. The sources suggest that most developers are unlikely to utilize enough tokens to hit the full quota frequently, making the free tier highly viable.

2 weeks ago - We will go with the defaults for now but do remember that at the time of the launch, Gemini 3 Pro model availability is as per limited quotas to everyone, so do expect appropriate messages indicating if you have exhausted those free quotas for Gemini 3 usage. Let's spend a bit of time now on the Agent Manager (window) here and understand a few things, so that it's clear about the basic building blocks, how you navigate in Antigravity and more.

November 19, 2025 -

I’m quite excited, so download the app and run it on an old Next.js project. The agent goes fully autonomous with a single prompt for minutes, so I grab my double cappuccino. By the time I came back, the limit was already hit.

Prompt: Understand the codebase and build the code.

Call 1-5: List files / read. Call 6-96: Install dependencies, generate Prisma client, build Next.js app, verify API routes, fix routes, fix lint.

22 files changed.

Model quota limit exceeded.

r/Bard on Reddit: Antigravity’s rate limits are a slap in the face to Ultra/Advanced subscribers
November 19, 2025 -

I’ve been hitting walls with the new Google Antigravity IDE, so I dug into the terms to see what was going on. What I found is actually pretty insulting to those of us paying for the ecosystem.

The Reality: Antigravity is officially a "No-cost public preview."

  • The Limit: Quota refreshes every 5 hours (and it's tight).

  • The Kicker: It completely ignores your subscription tier.

If you are paying for Gemini Pro/Ultra thinking you’ll get priority access or higher caps, you don't. You are thrown into the exact same bucket as a free user.

I get that it's a "preview," but why am I paying a premium subscription if I'm still treated like a free tier user on their newest products? It feels like they have zero consideration for early adopters who are actually funding the product.

Google Antigravity introduces agent-first architecture for asynchronous, verifiable coding workflows | VentureBeat
November 20, 2025 - Google launched yet another coding agent platform Tuesday, this time focused on developer teams collaborating to create agents that can execute complex tasks automatically, in a way that moves agents from being remotely controlled to actually independent. The platform, called Antigravity, is powered by Gemini 3 and is now available in public preview with “generous rate limits on Gemini 3 Pro usage,” Google writes in a blog post accompanying the announcement.
