Nothing. Unless you have a newer version that can store Authenticator codes on your Google Drive and you did that your codes are permanently gone. Any account using them will need to be recovered using whatever each service prescribes. Sounds like you didn’t download backup one time codes for those services that provide it which was a poor decision. More on reddit.com

Are the people who created the app the only people who can use it? I have never been able to figure out not only how to use it, but how to even set it up.
There is no explanation of what to do when you open the app on your phone.
After tapping, "Get Started" and then selecting the account, it says, "Add a code". Then, after tapping "Add a code", the next screen gives 2 options: "Scan a QR code" OR "enter a setup key"
That's it! Nothing else! Nothing saying where the QR code or setup key are located.
A web search is useless because it doesn't provide any information to get you from this screen into the next. It will lead you to Google support, where instructions regurgitate what the web search stated.

I have the Google Authenticator app linked to my Google account. When I click on the cloud icon in the top-right corner of the app, I see the message: "Your codes have been saved to your Google account." This suggests that the codes are backed up to my linked Google account, so I should be able to recover them if I lose my phone.
However, after searching through my Google account, I can't find where these codes are stored. Could you help me with this?
