October 2, 2019 - when someone adds a new recovery address to their gmail address - or creates a new gmail address - and uses your address BY MISTAKE ( as their recovery address ) - google sends you an email with a disavow link in it , please USE THE LINK to remove the connection to your address if you no longer have that email and the link to remove it is not in the latest email you received - then all you can do is to email those addresses and ask them to remove your address from their recovery option - please explain to them that this is a SECURITY RISK for them if they lose access to their account and they should comply , it is NOT a security risk to you !!!!!

October 30, 2025 - Internal risk — I tested behavior for an internal-style email during private testing (kept private here). This was a logic bug, not a shiny exploit - but the damage could be real.
