Can I use my custom business email in Google Workspace?
Yes, you can buy a domain and configure it to end emails from Google Workspace. If you wanted you can also migrate email to your new account using Google's data migration service, but I wouldn't suggest it unless you have something like [email protected] set up. Keep in mind you can't make [email protected] and alias for [email protected] so you'd need to set up email forwarding for your old account. I suggest also adding an auto-response saying that your email has been changed so please update their records. When it comes to collaborating on Docs, it depends on which account you're logged into. You can log into multiple accounts in Gmail by clicking in your logo in the top right. Same goes for Drive. I suggest creating a Chrome Profile for business and another to personal use so you don't get them mixed up. More on reddit.com

Google sold their domain business formerly known as Google Domains to Squarespace. You can still buy a domain from Squarespace. Yes, you can configure 'your domain' to use Google Workspace and you will get a custom email in your name business/domain. I'll suggest using the business starter Google Workspaces. It costs about $6-$7 bucks a month. Create a bunch of Alias from your first Workspace email so you don't incur the cost of buying a license for more email accounts that you might not need.
