1 month agoHave you used "Google My Business" to try to further your customer base? How did it go?
Pretty sure you can hide your physical address and just put town and zip. Would want to check in on that. But having a GMB especially in the handy man business is extremely important - along with a website - even if it's just basic, but well put together. Request some reviews from past clients to make you rank higher and make you more trustworthy. Finding a trustworthy and skilled handyman is hard - and many people see it as a risk given stories they've heard in the past. If you have a good looking website with some work photos, good reviews, etc. it will make you stand out. More on reddit.com

G'day Profilers,
I used to log in and access the dashboard of my business profile - as well as many other business profiles I manage - simply by typing "my business" into a browser. In the results page, it would show a list of the profiles I manage. I could then click on the one I wanted, which would take me directly to its dashboard.
For about a week now, this no longer works on my end. Searching for "my business" now returns the "Get listed on Google" page. If I sign in there, it takes me to the 'Business Profile Manager,' where all my profiles are listed, but there’s no option to access the dashboard where you can update products, services, performance or check profile strength.
I haven’t seen any posts about this issue. Is it just me, or is anyone else experiencing the same problem?
I just had a phone call with Google Support, but I'm curious on the extension of this issue.
