Works better for specific websites, much better extension support, and the themes are better as you can actually change the colour of the toolbar. Also profiles. Safari doesn’t have profiles, but Chrome has excellent support for profiles, meaning you can have separate bookmarks, themes, extensions, and settings for work, school or personal without having 2 whole computer users just for work and personal. I’m a web developer and I always have a testing profile alongside my personal and work profiles. You could even add 50 profiles and everything can still be separate. Or on a shared computer, you can have a profile for each child if you’re a parent like I am. Not to mention that if you’re on the latest macOS, you have to update the whole system to update Safari. Chrome just requires a browser restart to update Chrome, and it’s quicker. More on reddit.com

According to "chrome install location osx", which leads to How do I change the Chrome installation folder on a Mac?, it is with the rest of the applications in the usual spot at /Applications/Google Chrome.app.
If it's not there, multiple techniques for locating it (or any application) can be found here (also via the search results above):
In a terminal:
find / -type d -name "*Chrome.app"In a terminal (answerer was using Mountain Lion):
/System/Library/Frameworks/CoreServices.framework/Versions/A/Frameworks/LaunchServices.framework/Versions/A/Support/lsregister -dump | grep -i "google chrome"
I suppose you could also search your computer for "Google Chrome.app".
