I completed a test from Google about understanding your Settings for Chrome. Here is what I discovered, new to me, about Chrome defaults. From Chrome Settings, click on Sync and Google Services in the center box. Then scroll down to Make searches and browsing better. If it is turned on, it sends every single URL you click on to Google. I always turn it off for Microsoft Windows but didn't realize it was on by default for Chrome. So for years, Google has seen everywhere I've been. Not any more!
