Depends on what you're trying to learn. The Google course work is more than sufficient for learning the fundamentals of paid ads and SEO. Meta also offers free course work for learning social media marketing on FB and IG. Getting certified with these platforms should give you enough of a foundation to get through the interview process when trying to get a job.
As someone who hires, Id rather have certs from the platforms we use than through some online school that provides a fake diploma. That being said, going through a course with an instructor that you can ask questions and practice what you learn can be valuable. However, im not 100% sure they offer that given there isn't anything that states that you have access to an in person instructor or a client use case that you can apply what you learn in real time.
Also, I just checked the DMI site and they are using Neil Patel as one of their SEO instructors. He's a trash fake guru who somehow generated a lot of brand name recognition in our industry and that probably says something about the rest of their "educators." If you can be self motivated, I'd probably just stick with the courses from Google and Meta.
