How good is Google Fi coverage?
Google Fi operates on the T-Mobile network . With T-Mobile, Google Fi gives you access to the third-best 4G LTE network and the best 5G network.
What networks does Google Fi use for coverage?
How does Google Fi's coverage compare to other major carriers?
Yes, I know Google Fi has a coverage map. Coverage maps lie. The map looks only granular at the zip code level.
I talked to customer service and they are 100% confident I will have great coverage. I have trouble believing them unless they have sent someone to my house.
Verizon and AT&T before them said they have good coverage at my house. They don't.
Signing up my family and porting a bunch of numbers before I can find this out seems like a major pain.
I have been with Tmo for about 9 years now. Got the 4 Line for $100 and $10 for each additional line (plus all the fees and taxes. Makes it about $127). Comes with 4GB data. Nobody has ever gone over 2GB.
I live in NY metro area. Use my phone's gps while driving, rarely travel outside NYC. T-Mobile definitely moved from their "un-carrier" stance. They do NOT offer same phone deals for my plan. Charges $35 for each upgrade!!! Even if it's done online. Had to be on chat for 30 mins and 15 voice call to get it reimbursed as statement credit.
Would you recommend GFW based on their network coverage?
