Is 'Google IT Automation with Python Professional Certificate' worth paying 50$ a month ?
I took the Google IT Support Professional certificate program. Was pretty good, you learn a good deal, I got some good knowledge on coding basics and other miscellaneous topics. Took it because I let my A+ lapse and I wanted something on my resume. It's not an industry standard certification, it's not gonna be make or break, but Coursera did a pretty good job with the course I took and I did land a job after, doing tech work with a company that markets toward MSPs. Can't speak directly on the Python course you're looking at specifically, but it's probably trustworthy and you'll probably get good education out of it, just don't expect it to automatically get you a job afterward, aside from looking nice to have on paper. Has anyone new to IT taken Google IT Automation w/Python Cert right after they took Google IT Support Cert?
I finished Google’s python cert last month. You will need some python or at least programming skills to work through the course. I didn’t find it basic at all even though I have been working with python occasionally over the last year. But it’s a very good course regardless. Lot of stuff to learn. More on reddit.com

Google IT Automation with Python Professional Certificate - worth doing
I did it the whole way through. If you're a system admin it is totally worth it but really it's great overall. It took a solid 3 months to finish. I recommend having an introductory knowledge of python before starting as they really dig in quick. More on reddit.com
