UPDATE: So, I just looked into this a little more, and I can't find any proof that the Lense overlay is an extension, I only found it as a chrome experimental feature flag. There is a backdoor type way to set flags for chrome, but nothing official. Do you have documentation on the lens overlay somewhere being an extension? Original: Generally, to block an extension, you want to use the chrome admx GPO add in. I have been successful in blocking other extensions, but not that specific one. Have you already tried using ExtensionInstallBlockList from the chrome ADMX? An easy way to tell, is to use the registry setting for this Software\Policies\Google\Chrome\ExtensionInstallBlocklist\1 = "extension_id1" You make a new numbered key for each ID to block 1 assumes this is the first one you are blocking More on reddit.com
