Hey guys, need your help understand how this is possible. This morning I received an email as follows:
From: Mail Delivery Subsystem [email protected]
To: MY.EMAIL[@gmail.com]
Subject: Delivery Status Notification (Failure)
Content: Address not found. Your message wasn't delivered to MY.EMAIL[@google.com] because the address couldn't be found, or is unable to receive mail. The response was: The email account that The email account that you tried to reach does not exist. Please try double-checking the recipient's email address for typos or unnecessary spaces. For more information, go to Google Support Link. Then the spam part begins with a Confirmation.Needed.xxxx Link and a large breaking news image of CAA saying "You're are the lucky winner of a Brand New CAR".
Does anyone know what is going on here? Is this a new spam using the victim email in the from field and causing a bounce?
