Dude I've gone through about 10 Pixel 5a phones with the exact same issue. This is known by Google and they've issued an extended warranty. Contact Google support, they'll act like they have no idea about this at first. Then you'll eventually get to where they tell you to bring it to Ubreakifix where they will deem it unrepairable. Then contact Google store again and they'll ask for the receipt from Ubreakifix. Then they'll send you a prepaid label and box to ship it back. I've had several refurbished 5a phones and they all die after a few months. This last time they sent back a brand new Pixel 7 Pro! More on reddit.com

So last night my pixel 5a just bricked out of nowhere (I've since discovered the huge number of threads of people saying the same thing).
Is it something that can be fixed at all? I loved this phone, I feel incredibly angry at the prospect of having to buy a new one when it seems everyone's 5a has suspiciously bricked at around the same time.

The warranty was extended to 2 years so check if it's under that period. I think other people have been getting pixel 6a s as replacement. Not gonna lie though I knew about this reading a thread and traded mine in for an 8. Where I'm going with this is that I only got 75 bucks for a in good condition phone so there wasn't tons of value left innit. Still sucks either way. It was a nice phone
