Pixel 5a is the best phone I've ever owned
Pixel 5a 5g is a very bad phone - Google Pixel Community
I've owned nearly every major flagship, the more recent ones being a pixel 6 pro, galaxy s21 ultra, Huawei p30 pro, and vivo X70 Pro. There's always something lacking in the phones I get. My last one, vivo X70 Pro, had minor things that just added up and became very annoying (such as always on display not able to show all notifications), but it was probably the best out of those 4 mentioned.
I got a pixel 5a because I read that the battery life was great, camera is great, etc. I think I finally just narrowed down what I mainly want in a phone: great camera, great battery life, and bright screen.
The pixel 5a nails all of those. I was able to get better photos on the other phones if I really tried, but the pixel has such consistent quality. I've always wanted a screen that is bright enough to see when I have the slider at max and not having to count on the "brightness boost" that is pretty hard to even get activated (especially on the Samsung phones). The pixel 5a has the brightest screen I've seen so far without brightness boost enabled. As far as the battery life, it's the best I've ever used by far. I'm shocked at how long it lasts.
Just wanted to share my experience.
Edit: I got rid of the pixel 6 pro quickly due to the battery life and fingerprint sensor. I don't care what anyone says, taking one second or more longer to unlock the screen ruins the experience. Worst fingerprint sensor I've ever used.
