I currently own an Huawei P20 Pro, which I have had for 5 years. I am waiting to see how the Pixel 8 Pro will be, because I will probably either go with that or an Samsung S23+. Based on the comments in here, the processor upgrades does not seem to address battery and overheating issues?

August 28, 2024 - Both the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro are powered by Google’s Tensor G3 chip so overall performance of both phones is pretty similar. Where the 8 Pro beats the 8 though is RAM, with the Pro model having 16GB of RAM compared to the 8’s 8GB.
