My Pixel 8 Pro has developed an issue with the camera focus and Google sent me a replacement. However, I noticed that it's a refurbished unit. They said that they replace the battery and the back glass etc.
Has anyone used those? Are they really like new and as moisture tight as the new units?

Hellooooooooo, ive had a pixel 6 pro for many years and absolutely loved it but I recently dropped it and have dead pixels/black spot on the top left of my screen now and I guess it's time for an upgrade.
I've always been a big pixel fan since the Pixel 3 and would like to stick to it, but since joining this subreddit I've been reading horrible things about the newer ones, mainly with issues with battery life that's plaguing the new ones.
I'm wondering if the pixel 8 Pro Refurbished or possibly the pixel 9 pro refurbished are still worth it to stick to the pixel line.
I usually get the slightly older models as I really don't care having the newest model, usually stick with the pro version for the slightly better specs, and a Refurbished pixel has never failed me, they last me years without an issue, so that's my criteria.
Tried a OnePlus 10 pro T and I loved it but unfortunately my networks 5g was incompatible with it, so I had to return it.
If you don't think it's worth sticking to the pixel line anymore, would like some other recommendations for android phones, not really feeling a samsung, the cameras always felt bleh compared to the pixels and the performance is also meh. no iPhones please.
Let me know about your experience with the pixel 8 Pro or 9 pro. Thanks in advance!
In the U.S.A. got any recommendations?
Edit: not meaning to solicit advice only to turn around and snub it, so I need to add that I don't use anything from Meta. FB market is out for me.
