r/AndroidQuestions on Reddit: Google Play: change order of payment methods?
March 7, 2024 -

Perhaps it occurred to someone else as well. I have multiple (more than 2) payment methods in Google Wallet, and (not sure if it's related) Google Play has access to them as well. However, it uses different, arbitrary order of these methods. Is there any way to change the default or reorder them? It always suggests the one from top, which wouldn't be my first or second preference. It also suggests it as a backup method whenever I choose anything else (any other backup method can be only added later, manually).

Play redirects my to payments.google.com when I tap "More payment settings". However, the order of payment methods there is even different (matches neither Play nor Wallet). This site doesn't provide options to reorder them or pick the default either.

The order is not alphabetical. Changing labels has no effect. I use Play Store 39.7.34-31.

Do you perhaps have any ideas?
