Bought something through an app that didn’t work as expected.
I requested a refund within 1 hour of purchase — well within their official refund window.
It’s now been 5 days, and all I’ve gotten is a circus:
→ Google Play denied the refund, told me to contact the developer
→ Developer said Google handles all refunds
→ Went back to Google with proof, and now they say “contact your bank” if the payment already went through
I haven’t even gone to the bank yet — I’m just exhausted from being passed around like a refund football.
I followed all the right steps, even stayed in the time limit, and they’re still not helping.
Has anyone else dealt with this? Is this how Google Play handles refunds now?

I've ACCIDENTALLY subscribed an app, mistakenly thought it was a free trial and was charged right way. I immediately contact google for refund and it is now under review. For common cases like that, will i actually get a refund for the accidental subscription
