Google app sharing search.app links
Do you use Google app to search?
For me, it doesn't make sense to use Google app to search things... I mean, I search for something and click in some link, then it will be open in my default browser. Why not use the browser itself to search? In the end, I will be using my browser anyway, not the Google app.
Google should make Assistant independent of Google app, so I could uninstall it (because it's only a bad news feed right now)

Why is there no "Search Tools" in the Google App?
Recently (few days ago), I noticed that each link shared from the Google in-app web browser uses the "search.app" domain.
For example, trying to share the link to the Reddit front Page, I get: https://search.app?link=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.reddit.com%2F&utm_campaign=...&utm_source=...
Is this a new feature from the Google app?
