It’s safe but just know that if and when you want to leave wix you’ll have to contact their support to disconnect from their reseller account. I’ve done it manually but it doesn’t work out for everyone that way. Not that big of a deal but just something to know. I believe you're asking specifically about who you're paying; Wix as a Google Workspace reseller, or Google themselves. I am in this exact scenario right now; I purchased a business email from Wix, and immediately realized while I can do most workspace management through google, I have to use Wix for all top-level user activities such as adding new users. If this is what you're experiencing, you have to contact Wix customer support. I contacted both Wix and Google, and Google informed me that Wix would need to take care of it. I contacted Wix and they gave me this message: Hi there, Thank you for contacting Wix customer care. Before we can assist you in transferring your Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) mailbox to Google, please: Confirm that you have access to the Google Admin Console using the address [my business email] Please keep the following in mind: After the transfer of the mailbox, your subscription will enter into a 30-day grace period with Google. After the grace period, you will need to pay Google for your subscription. Wix will provide a prorated refund for the remaining time for a Yearly Google Workspace Subscription. Wix cannot provide a refund (or partial refund) for a Monthly Google Workspace Subscription. Once you transfer your mailbox to Google, the mailbox cannot be transferred back to Wix. The time purchased at Wix cannot be used as a credit toward the purchase of a different G Suite plan or Payment Cycle change (from Yearly to Monthly or vice versa) after the mailbox is transferred.
