Yes. I got all my Google data sent to me. They have EVERY search you've ever made. They have every area you've ever searched in Google maps. Any Google product, they keep everything you've searched for. They also keep data on every app you access on an Android device. I sort of logically understood this, but when you get all the data packaged and sent to you, it's honestly stunning. You can request it through your Google account, I suggest you do so. Then try and de-google as much as possible. Answer from nami_wiki on reddit.com

r/privacy on Reddit: Does google actually keep an entire search history tied to people?
July 27, 2022 -

I stumbled upon the Parkland death penalty hearing and they are displaying all the Google searches that the guy made. Apparently not from his ISP, but from Google, because he was signed in on gmail while making the searches. No sympathy for the nut job, but does that mean Google has a record of all the searches I ever made while signed in on Gmail. That is too much in my opinion. I have also googled things I'd be embarrassed if they were made public. I think everyone has.

I work for Google Search. If you're signed-in, yes, data is probably stored to your account. You can delete some or all of it at any time. You can also have it automatically deleted after set periods of time (such as anything older than three months). You can turn off storing entirely, also. This page explains more about delete options, including auto-deleting. This is a more visual guide to privacy settings with Google. This also explains a fast way to delete the last 15 minutes if you use the Google iOS or Android app (helpful if you for some reason share your device with someone). To recap, it's up to you if you want to store data or not. It can be generally useful to do so with search for some people. It can help you quickly get back to pages you found after doing a search but maybe didn't bookmark or to pick up where you left off in a series of searches. Sort of like autosave when composing document, spreadsheet or coding. But if you prefer it not on, you can turn it off or make use of the various delete options.
