How well do Govee permanent outdoor lights (regular or pro) hold up?
FWIW I installed mine in October. I used the 3m and the clips to screw into the soffit, it was cold when I did it and the tape worked but I wasn’t convinced it would hold. I ended up at the local Home Depot and bought more clips that were similar. I didn’t want to have to go back up and fix them, a bit of belt and suspenders approach. They haven’t moved but 1 of the 3 strings is giving me an issue, one light will work intermittently, not at all or stay on, the others are just dead. Now I have to troubleshoot that. Just bought these from Costco in Canada. I thought they were the pros because they come in a black version ( I have black soffits) but they seem to be different. Does anyone have experience with this version and know how they compare to the other two? I think they still have 2 white LEDs (4000k) and then one rgbic in the middle. They were $400CAD. I had been waiting for the Pros to go on sale in a few days on Amazon but don't know what version to get anymore.
