I’m torn on getting just one and getting a different floor lamp, or two of the floor lamp pros. It’s definitely pricy for two of them, so I’m hoping to hear from other people! Lighting is more important than the speaker.

I have a lamp in the corner of my apartment living room that does a pretty good job at lighting the room. It’s a dual bulb lamp utilizing 2x LUMIMAN (800LM/ea) smart bulbs.
The Floor Lamp 2 is 1725LM which at full brightness is already over the brightness of my existing 2 bulbs. However, the Floor Lamp 2 only reflects off the wall.
Thoughts?
Can’t find a video comparing these two so l'm gonna ask if any of you have these two by any chance and which one do you like the most. The signe being oldest is in the loosing position but what makes up for it is seeing the quality of the gradient in the lights, or so it's what I heard from watching videos on it. If you could give me an unbiased review of the products and l'll pick the best one.
Hi Everyone! Looking for the resident Govee experts here to give me a quick rundown on the differences between the floor lamp offerings.
Thanks in advance!
Hello,
So first some background: I live an apartment where using the ceiling lights is not an option for me. So I have installed Govee RGBIC stripes and I have two normal lamps that I already had.
Now I have good light, but the entrance area is always so dark when it get's darker outside. To change that and to brighten up the overall atmosphere I was thinking of putting a Govee Floor Lamp there. Now the question: Does this sound like a good idea and are the Floor Lamps even worth it?
I've seen there is a version two that seems newer. Is the upgrade worth it? I mean it costs 150€...
Thank you for your help! I'll attach pictures below.

I wanna see what good things you have to say about the products and I’ll see which one is best.
Hello everyone,
Looking into getting into Govee coming from Hue, My question is should I get the floor lamp 2 vs the Lyra . I am mostly interested in warm whites for background. I would consider the pro because it is taller however, I have no use for the speaker... Unless I can add it to a group in Google home and use it that way .
Thank you .
Are the speakers on the new lamps just for ambient sounds or are they going to be able to play music at a decent quality? The Ad mentions "an immersive music sync experience" but I think it's just referring to the lights.
Also, will having multiple lamps (and speakers) enhance the quality of the sound?
I just bought 2 Lyras a week ago - should I return them and upgrade to the newer model, especially since the price is the same?
Just wondering if anyone got the prepurchase discount code and doesn’t intend on using it (I missed the pre purchase window, unfortunately and it would be nice to save $50) as I Intend to buy one for my setup with the dream view!
Would appreciate a dm ! Thanks
Okay, this can definitely be marked as an impulse buy as to be fair, there isn’t much more that the Table Lamp 2 does over it’s predecessor. I like that the colors are more vivid and I feel like the brightness can be dimmed lower than the Aura Lamp (not sure if that’s actually a feature but it does seem like it). Other things I like are the general aesthetic and the fact that the touch sensitive controls up top are illuminated. I don’t like that the power cable looks cheaper and has ditched the USB-C (now a standard AC power-in). The unit now supports matter and from what I read, it supports workshop. In the end, I can definitely recommend it!
The Pro version is now available, and after watching reviews on it, I've come to the conclusion that the only reason to consider purchasing it is:
If you require black-colored lights.
If you absolutely prefer warm white lights.
If you need to cover a distance of 200ft in a single run.
The Pro version has fewer lights per strand, and there's no noticeable difference in brightness. I do appreciate the slimmer wire, and it does come with a bulky splice kit, which you can also achieve with the original version with a bit of effort, as well. Since I don't require any of the top three options, I'll be sticking with the original version.
Furthermore, it's worth noting that the Pro version is only available in a 100ft length, and there are no add-on extensions offered. In contrast, the original version comes in 50ft, 100ft, and 150ft options, with the flexibility to purchase extensions if needed.
If you require a 150ft length, you'd have to buy complete units, which would cost you $800, nearly 2.5 times the price of 150ft of the original version.
