August 1, 2020 - honestly the govee is pretty legit, but if you want a true upgrade without the camera, look into the lytmi. it's basically a generic Philipshue synchbox at a fraction of the cost with no need for cameras or calibration. they just came out with a new version that supports dolby vision. I'm in the process of moving but when I'm done that's the route I'm going to take! ... That’s awesome! Is that a test video? My immersion system arrives today.

I've just ordered a nice new 75" TV that I'm planning to wall mount. I would have liked an Ambilight one but my budget didn't stretch that far, so I was thinking of adding the Dreamview T1. I'm just wondering how intrusive the camera is though. I don't think I'll have anywhere else to put it apart from at the top of the screen. As nice as the backlights are, if they rely on a camera that is going to get in the way of the TV content then it doesn't seem worth it. So for those of you who have added the camera at the top of the screen, have you lost access to the TV content at all? What else should I be aware of re installing the camera in the top / middle?

Hi, just need a bit of convincing to buy the Immersion kit, just most of the threads on here seem to be peoples problems, seems the slightest reflection or added light seems to throw it off, even the colour of your carpet! Is it really this sensitive, also someone said the colours would always be off on a VA tv panel, which my Sony XJ90 is... i would only be using it to watch movies and gaming, so would want the colours to match the onscreen stuff..
