Is there a way to extend the length of the cable between the controller box and the start of the LED strips?

How to extend Govee M1 segments beyond ~2 meters
Videos
I've got the H6147 RGBIC (2x10m) LED strips and the length between the built in controller box and where the strips start is just way too short (image #1). There ought to be a way to extend this cable and make it longer.
Here are my ideas:
Idea #1, image #2 - is there a way to somehow take apart this little connector between the strips and the control box and add an extension cable there?
Idea #2, image #3 - There's a seam that starts at the bottom of the controller box (where the two cables are connected to it) that goes all the way around to the top of it on the back part. Might there be a way to open the controller box itself, take out the two connected cables, connect them to an extension cable and then connect the other side of the extension cable back to the control box?
I'd highly appreciate if someone could tell me what's possible and give me any more ideas on how to extend the cable between the controller box and where the LED strips, and move the controller box further away from the LED strips themselves. It'll be a huge help.
Thank you!
I’m looking to put Govee LED Strip Light 2 Pro inside the suspended ceiling of my living room. Covering this would require around 20-25 meters of the strip.
I’m planning to buy the 10m version (since it’s the longest one available) and 10-15 of the „1m Extension Light” available below:
https://eu.govee.com/products/govee-led-strip-light-2-pro?variant=48667619754168
This purchase is an obvious choice for a fresh customer like me, especially because:
a) The 10 meter version’s product description claims that the strip is extendable.
b) LED lights way longer than 10m, placed in a mounted ceiling are shown very often in Govee’s visualization images and other marketing materials.
c) There is no specified limit by which you can extend the strip, neither in the 10m version’s product description, nor in the Extension Light’s, nor in any place on the Govee’s website.
Honestly, I cannot think of any other reason why they haven’t put such fundamental information, than to simply lure the customers into buying more products and later forcing them to buy a different product, when the customer discovers it doesn’t work.
So, the question to you, Govee enjoyers, is:
How on earth can I know the length by which I can extend the extendable Govee LED Strip Light 2 Pro?
