Hello all. I have 150ft of outdoor permanent lights hung incorrectly on my house. I hired someone to hang them and they did it wrong. I have hired someone else to re-hang them but I threw away the installation guide. Does anyone have a copy they can scan or take a picture of? Thank you.

want to install some homekit compatible led light strips on my shelving area but am unclear how to only set it up either just under or above, without the vertical areas between each shelf being lit up. have a few examples below. anybody have any solutions, ideas or suggestions?

You can cut the Govee strip lights and string them together with wire on the vertical runs. I’ve watched a few YouTube videos on this and have everything I need to do the same thing with some cabinets at my house, but I’ve been afraid to pull the trigger on the project haha. Based on my research a kit that you could use (if you don’t want to solder) is this https://a.co/d/2q2iksB You may want to watch some YT videos on your own just to confirm that the wires will work and that you’d be comfortable with the work required

Buy 3D printed mounts for the lights and screw them into the soffit takes a little more time but completely worth it. Also make sure to clean and dry the soffit while you're up there for better results.

Buy extra led light clips off amazon and use them on both sides of each light as the tape will not hold for long. Mine lasted like a week before some started falling.
