First year Costco member. I understand that Costco's warranty policy makes them pretty particular as to what they offer for sale quality-wise. Haven't really had a reason to test that policy, but my local Costco is offering the Govee permanent outdoor lights kits. Every fall I'm tempted by permanent lights, and online reviews have been pretty mixed in past years. If Costco is offering them is that sign of better quality?
If you have installed them, what's your take on them?

I’ve had these for a couple years now. They’re great, and mean my house is decorated for every holiday without me having to decorate it. Then, when it’s not a holiday, they can just be reserved white lighting.

I have them, they're very good. You'll probably want to install them with clips and screws not just the stick on things they give you. The app has an insane amount of customization. I bought them on Amazon prime day for a bit less than this IIRC. I hope they go on clearance 😂 One thing to remember is the non-pro ones never go completely white. The white has a purple haze to it. My wife doesn't like it, but will be better when I use it for holiday lights. Halloween is soon 😁 You can also play music and it will sync to the controller box.

I would highly recommend the pro's over these regular ones. These regular ones cannot do regular soft white light, it only does the really harsh blue white light. Also much easier to splice the pro's.

FYI someone posted you might not be able to extend this.. but I think you can. It looks like the pro Kit but without the extension cables. However in this video - Chris shows how to extend the older outdoor lights (the first version without matter support.)
