if i hover over the total tokens,
it lterally tells me the input token at 2.409m
and output 4.497M
and with those numbers the charge seems to be correct or at least makes more sense than the intiial 2.4m total token, I read it as total token for output/… Answer from Zoinks on community.openai.com

API Pricing for GPT-5 mini is on par with GPT-4.1 mini . This is really good news.
ChatGPT 5-mini says it costs $10 per 10 000 tokens of outdata of GPT-5 at Openai, is this true, which gotta be wrong info. I selected at Openai Playground GPT5 model but when I ask in chat what model is used it answers gpt4. Also answers takes long time. I'm not pleased with it. I bought already credits for $10. I initially expected it to be very expensive, but they have roughly stayed the same.
Input tokens seem to be a little cheaper for GPT5 vs GPT 4.1
This would make it a lot cheaper to give the model a lot of info and context.
