I recently bought an RTX 3090 that didn't have an I/O bracket with it and I am looking to find one that would fit the card. The only brackets I can find that are matches are either from china or from AliExpress and won't get here for two and a half weeks, does anyone know a good place to find replacement GPU I/O brackets?

Ebay. That's how I got one for my roommate. His GPU came from an ROG GR8 II, which has the GPU i/o shield built-in. Think it came from China, took about 2 weeks. Edit to add: just search '3090 I/O shield' and find what matches your GPU

December 31, 2020 - Cutting slots out of a metal PCIe slot cover might be a bit challenging, but it seems like a cover cut out of a relatively thick, sturdy plastic would also probably work suitably enough. You would want to make sure it's something that's not going to bend over time though. Adding something like an anti-sag bracket, or even a makeshift one like the figurine previously mentioned, could also help reduce the weight pressing on a plastic IO shield.

I'm in the process of building my first PC, and this is the first major roadblock I've run into. For this build I've been planning to just use an EVGA 750 ti that I've had sitting around for years since I'm on a rather low budget. However, years ago I removed the I/O bracket so that I could get it into an old optiplex tower (which would only tolerate single slot). Then like an idiot I seem to have lost the bracket after moving out of the house I was in at the time, forgetting to take it with me. Currently my 750ti looks like this. The bracket is, of course, completely missing, and despite my searching I haven't been able to find a replacement online so far.
Is there any way for me to get around this problem, or will I have to buy a whole new GPU over this?

Click to expand... case isnt designed for that the reason your is so big is the teeth from the io metal plate dont stick out horizontally hence why you cant i would not remove the io as its a means to take the weight of the cooler removing it and trying to install the card would damage the cards pcb or potentially crack it if installed without it.
