Hello! Transitioning my almost 6 year old to highback booster mode but I can’t figure out if the top tether stays in the same spot as before or if I’m supposed to adjust it somewhere else. The manual seems like I am supposed to move it but can’t figure out how/where. Thanks in advance!

Graco 4Ever All-In-one Questions and Advice
Hi, I'm a car seat technician! Convertible and combination seats don't have bases like infant bucket seats do, so you'll install the seat with the seatbelt through the belt bath OR using the LATCH system. If you want to use the seat in multiple cars, you'll need to uninstall and re-install it for each car you use it in since there's no clickable base.

Hi! I was doing my periodic review of the manual to make sure my kiddos still within the weight ranges. I did notice this in the manual, where it says not to use the latch and tether if the child’s over 45lbs, but I couldn’t see where it mentioned how to install it if they are over 45lbs. (It is late and I may be missing it but the more eyes the merrier). My child’s 48lbs so I’d like to re-install the car seat correctly. If needed, I have a 2024 Mazda CX-5.

We are transitioning our 1 year old from her infant car seat which is the Maxi Cosi AP, seen here:
http://www.maxi-cosi.com/ca-en/products/car-seats/infant/mico-ap-infant-car-seat.aspx
We don't love the Maxi Cosi but it is lightweight and the way the seat works is the base straps into the car and the seat can be popped out and carried with the base left in the car. We have one seat but two bases (one in each car) and it works great.
As she transitions we decided on the Graco 4Ever All-In-One, but I just went to install it and was a bit confused. It looks like the latch belt goes through the seat, not the base- does that mean we can't move it around between cars?
If, as I suspect, that the All-In-One is difficult to move between cars, I'm wondering what you all do that have this seat? Do you only use one car with your child? Do you still move it back and forth? Do you have more than one seat?
Thanks in advance!

Two cars = two seats
That said, we love our graco's. First kid is three now and is forward facing, AMD he likes being able to climb in and out of it himself.
