My goal in this project is to make a machine that can machine metal parts with the lowest budget possible as the highest priority. Not the best or biggest but the cheapest starting cost to put it frank... Being capable of making some useable parts is a requirement though otherwise it's worthless regardless of cost.
So... Die grinders are used in various metal works, both with cast and forged steel often operated by hand.
It seems to me that these tools doesn't need the rigidity which is typically associated with steel machining.
So, can a machine be built using one of these die grinders to make small steel parts?
Instead of cutting the metal, let's file it. Wasn't it said that anything can be made with a file? And isn't a die grinder just a rotating file anyway.
So any thoughts?
