Hey guys, First time here,
So.. we have a Grohe shower mixer that’s leaking water from the diverter area (image 5 - red circle) when the tap is on. I believe the problem is with the diverter valve (the part that switches between the hand shower and the overhead shower).
I tried to replace it, but it was really stuck. After a lot of effort, I managed to twist it a bit, and the bottom part of the diverter came out (image 2) but the top part is still stuck inside the bath mixer (image 1 - the head)
I’ve tried different angles and gentle force, but it won’t budge. I think it might be due to limescale build-up since it’s been in use for around 10 years.
Does anyone know how to safely remove or if there’s a hidden screw or special tool required for Grohe models like this?
The bath mixer model is Grohe Concetto Single-lever bath mixer 1/2″ (image 3) model number: 32211001
The diverter model is 65655000 (image 4)
Thanks in advance.
It seems that it’s held by some 3-prong steel lock that’s not moving, can’t pull out the plastic diverter (have replacement part from Grohe).
