Question from a non-plumber about our Grohe kitchen faucet. It has a pull-out sprayer with buttons for stream and spray flow. In the past month, it's started to switch from stream to spray unexpectedly. This happens while water is flowing. The cadence of these switches has been increasing as well. Any ideas on the root cause? Any additional info I can provide? Some pics below.

I was using that top round button which stops the flow of water temporarily. The button did feel like it was kind of catching but it was working until I think it got stuck.. water won’t come on anymore and I can’t really press it anymore. Tried smacking it and wd40 lol any other ideas?
