I am having a wedding in Florida in November. My colors are deep autumn colors: rust/burgandy/olive/dark teal. The groom wants to wear suit pants and a vest but no jacket. I had planned on a rustic dark teal or olive tweed but he has nixxed those colors for the suit. He really likes grey suits like the one Beckham is wearing in the attached attached but I'm struggling to get it to go with the rest of the colors. He is ok with coffee brown.The bridesmaids will be in dark teal/peacock blue. How can I style either a grey or brown vest/pants to go with the colors? What color shirt/ tie combos would look good? Should the groomsmen and groom completely match or should the groom's color be slightly off from the groomsmen? The wedding is on a bluff right above the beach during the fall. Hopefully the leaves will be changing. The wedding will be outside. Thanks!
I am really struggling here to figure out bridal party colors. My fiancé and I each have 3 people in our wedding party. For the MOH/Bridesmaids I want to let them pick their own dresses and for each to have different color with the potential colors being copper/burnt orange, brown, olive green, and deep red/burgundy. Before I assign the bridesmaids their colors I’m trying to figure out what the groom/groomsmen colors should be. My fiancé and I are going to go suit shopping and will either have him be in olive green, brown, or burgundy, it will depend on what looks best on him. What we can't figure out is what is the best color for the groomsmen. Since the groomsmen will be renting we have to pick from tan/grey/blue/black as a lot of places don't seem to have too many color options for renting. I was initially thinking tan/beige but my FMIL pointed out that it may wash people out but maybe I should just ignore that lol. So I need advice! What groomsmen colors would go best with either olive green, brown or burgundy and not clash with the bridesmaids colors?
The only suggestion I’m not open to is the groomsmen not wearing a jacket as I don’t like that look.
