I’ve been eyeing these two styles and haven’t gotten a chance to try them in store yet. Just want to hear more about which one you prefer more and why :)
I’ve heard that the mini flare pants might be too long for those that are shorter and can’t get hemmed because it’ll defeat the purpose of the style.
Oh, I can’t decide between Java and Roasted Brown either!
Would love to hear any insight or recommendations!

I know this is an unpopular opinion but I absolutely LOVE the mini flares. I own two pairs of grooves and while I love how flattering they are, I cannot stand the elastic super high waist, I find it to be really uncomfortable and accentuates my stomach area more than I’d like. The mini flares feel just like normal aligns except compressive around the calves where they flare out. It’s an odd sensation when you first try them on but they’re actually very flattering and so so so comfortable! I’ve bought two pairs already and want more!

… But the problem is, when I picked them up, one of the pants were missing the long white size tag from the inside; which kind of upset me bc I couldn’t confirm they were indeed the exact same pants and the pants just looked/felt different. ..
About two months later; I pull out the pair that DID have the tag on it to wear it again, and this time, I am literally convinced. This is SOMETHING different, for sure. This pair feels BUTTERY SOFT and weightless. The other doesn’t.
Idk about you guys, but taking a $120+ hit like that just really rubs me the wrong way.
Is it possible they sent me one that is not Nulu fabric? Is there anyway to verify if this is indeed a different earlier style of the pants? Can or will lululemon do anything this late after a purchase?
I normally wouldn’t bother to return but an over $100 mistake isn’t something I can get over that easily. 😞

The only way I can think of is to check the size dot and see if it matches up with the pair you bought. However there's only one style of SHR grooves/they don't make them in different fabrics so I'm not sure what the new pair could be.

The tag is meant to be torn out- no need to rely on that. Just about every lulu item has a size dot. Groove pants / mini flares are only nulu. If you hemmed it ALOT they prob look different and lost a lot of their flare. Check back pocket it’ll be a little white circle with you size listed. But odds are no they didn’t mix them up- policy says altered items can’t be returned- but just quality promise them if you’re so convinced
