I sell on Depop and Poshmark. On. Depop I have to use ground advantage and Poshmark I can use priority. I thought priority mail was suppose to be faster but all but one of my package sold on Poshmark arrive in two days the other just keep arriving late. On ground advantage however it only arrive late maybe once or twice. I just want to know which one is faster because I thought priority mail was suppose to be faster.
Is this true? She said that now virtually everything goes ground because the planes wont accept much.

Is USPS Priority Mail faster than Ground Advantage?
Does USPS Ground Advantage include tracking and insurance?
When is Ground Advantage cheaper than Priority Mail?
Or is this just a fluke? Because it's been happening several times lately.
I ordered something off of eBay shipping priority. The seller instead shipped USPS ground advantage and the package has been in flight for 15 days with no movement for the last week. I paid a decent amount to ship this so I’m wondering if the service is comparable? Typically for priority, I have gotten my packages in about three business days. How long should I wait to file a claim? I’m hoping it will come this week.
I have been transitioning from a casual seller to a part time? However since last couple of months I had 2 packages lost that were shipped USPS ground advantage, one almost lost but found after spending several hours on the phone with customer service, another two didn’t marked delivered (one of which was caught in hurricane Beryl). I feel like it’s too stressful and time consuming finding packages, filing claims, dealing with customers, issuing refunds. I have not had any luck with getting insurance out of usps, I file claims and they said they are pending, but already sent me surveys on how the cases have been resolved. I didn’t even got the answer on the final decision. Calling customer service takes hours, etc. I tried offering fedex on my more expensive items, but one time I had extra charge of like $20 for shipping a tie on top of initial $13 I paid. I was able to dispute it with ebay as I sell a lot of ties and have the same packaging for them and they all weight the same. USP seems to me the most expensive option. So I was thinking to start offering priority shipping for my $95 - $299 range items. Is it any safer / faster? What service do you recommend for that price range? Thanks 🙏🏻
I have mixed feelings about the new USPS Ground Advantage. They basically got rid of First Class so they can charge more but also seem to be getting the packages delivered a bit faster. In most cases for me, it has been just as fast as Priority Mail.
I just wish there was still a lower cost cheaper tier for items under 1 lb.
In the last 4 months, USPS has lost 4 of my 16 packages that I’ve shipped off. One is in a constant loop and two just never left facilities. Mind you that I only ship priority and media mail.
Why do I feel like Ground Advantage ruined USPS’ already-horrible stride? They already weren’t that great in the first place and now the service and company became even worse. This is horrible
We shipped 50+ boxes from NV to HI. "SUPPOSEDLY" to arrive in about 2 weeks. Each box took over 30 days and one got delivered to someone else.
I noticed that the usps raised all their flat rate prices but made the ground advantage cheaper if you’re sending it to the same zone or the next closest zone where the package is coming from. Like pacific zone to central zone. And it seems that ebay increased their discounts. I could be wrong. Maybe is this better when customers are expecting their package early and not arriving on time because ya know…. Usps… . Then you get a negative feedback for it. By switching to ground advantage ebay shows later expected date of arrival from when the item is purchased. So less pressure.
I ordered something, paid extra for priority shipping (1-3 days). 24 hours later, I placed another order for the same thing but with standard ground shipping this time. Both packages are arriving on the same day. So I paid extra to get something sooner, and in theory it actually took longer than if I hadn't paid for the service.
