Not too familiar with Guess and their logo history but I find it strange that the Guess triangle isn’t anywhere on the jacket, I haven’t seen any Guess jackets with that kind of logo patch. More on reddit.com

This makes me smile. had that exact jacket (mid-80s, I think) except in a lighter wash. I also had the “matching” jeans. At the back of the jeans at the bottom, there was a zipper that ran from the hem for about 3 inches and there was a little denim bow at the top of the zip. How I loved those jeans! My favorite Guess sweatshirt was baby blue and it had a big print of a teddy bear and then Guess written in pink. An older lady saw me wearing it one day and said, “Okay. I’m gonna guess that you’re having a boy!” Me, inside my head,: WTF??? Then I realize that she thinks my sweatshirt means that I’m pregnant and I have to explain to her that it’s a clothing brand. She was so embarrassed and apologetic, and to be fair, it was an oversized sweatshirt, but I remember walking away thinking: I’m 15. How could she think I’m pregnant?! OMG! I didn't even know Guess sold basics! I wouldn't trust them, though, Guess doesn't have the best quality to price ratio. you'd be better off going to a place known for selling basics because they'd cost the same or less than Guess on sale - American Apparel, J.Crew/Madewell, and Everlane (an online store popular on FFA) are recommended often here. Its over branded. If you can get a good discount and find clothes that don't look like monochromatic Ed Hardy stuff, by all means do. There are some "premium" jeans but they tend to run around $200 (in Canada) and they tend to be pre-distressed which is looked down upon here on MFA. You can get some pretty quality raws for about that price I think. Tl;dr - be careful or you'll walk out with much less money than you had before and end up looking closer to those Jersey Shore guys than you'd want to be. More on reddit.com
