If H+ (Hydrogen Ion) called a "proton" does that mean they have the same size(mass) ?
An H+ ion is literally a proton. There is no fundamental difference between the two. More on reddit.com

What is difference between H* ion and proton ???
H+ ion and proton are not exactly the same thing. If the term H+ ion is used (usually in a chemistry context) it can refer to non isotopically pure hydrogen ions (tho it can implie the 1 H+ isotope). A proton is always the 1 H+ isotope. The term proton is much more frequently used in a (particle) physics context. More on reddit.com

What is the charge on a hydrogen ion (H⁺)?
A hydrogen ion (H⁺) has a positive charge of +1. This is because a neutral hydrogen atom, which has one proton (+1 charge) and one electron (-1 charge), loses its electron, leaving behind only the positively charged proton.

What is the main difference between a neutral hydrogen atom (H) and a hydrogen ion (H⁺)?
The main difference lies in their subatomic particles and overall charge. Hydrogen Atom (H): A neutral hydrogen atom consists of one proton in its nucleus and one electron orbiting it. It has no net charge and is a highly reactive free radical.Hydrogen Ion (H⁺): A hydrogen ion is formed when a neutral hydrogen atom loses its electron. It consists of only a proton, giving it a net positive charge of +1.

What is a hydrogen ion and what is its chemical symbol?
A hydrogen ion is the nucleus of a hydrogen atom that has lost its single electron. Because the nucleus of a common hydrogen isotope (protium) consists of only a single proton, the hydrogen ion is essentially a bare proton. Its chemical symbol is H⁺.

We all know once a hydrogen loses it's only electron it becomes (H+) or Hydrogen Ion . Does it share the same chemical/physical properties with a proton or not? If not then what is in the hydrogen that makes it heavier than a proton ?

Answer (1 of 4): There are two broad types of hydrogen ions, one a positive cation, and the other a negative anion. The anion is probably easier to explain, being just an H atom with an extra electron added.
