Hikari H11. Seems that most of these LED bulbs contain square LED in a row. Other bulbs have a single row of 4, or two rows. Hikari seems to be the only ones that have 3 rows of 4 leds, much brighter than single or double row. Light output is dramatically improved, only problem I noticed is a flicker when you turn the car on while the headlights are already turned on. More on reddit.com

November 26, 2019Should I buy a LED conversion kit for a car w/ halogen headlights? Not entirely sure what they do, as my stock lights fit LED bulbs.
If your headlight comes are made for halogen bulbs, they are designed to reflect the light for those bulbs specifically. If you throw Leads in there, the light will get spread horribly and you'll just end up blinding everyone else. If you want LED lights, get new headlights made for LEDs or get LED projectors installed in your housing. In short though, don't be THAT ass that everyone flashes because you look like you have your high beams on all the time. I would do a lot more research before adding projectors too and also the cons of why not to just throw Leads into any headlight housing. More on reddit.com

- Loosen factory halogen bulb and remove from inside assembly
- Disconnect halogen bulb from factory power harness
- Secure LED bulb inside the assembly
- Connect the LED bulb to the factory power harness (if your car requires an anti-flicker, it will connect between the bulb plug and the factory harness)

For a 2012 Prius, what is the best brand of LED headlight to replace Halogen (they're H11 sized)?
In the past I've used Opt7 Fluxbeam. I don't know what's going on with this. I can't find it anywhere. I did find a site called fluxbeam that was trying to sell products that looked the same as Opt7, but the prices were higher and ultimately the site wouldn't work enough to take my payment... what's that about?
What light should i buy? I tried a Sealight X1 from Amazon but it's not very good, sending back.
