Hello, hope your all well. I’m after a bit of help and advice please, any help would be much appreciated. I would like to start by saying I’m very new to PC gaming so please bare with me.
2 days ago I received a custom pre built pc from Scan 3XS, the specs are as follows:
Ryzen 9 5900x
3080 rog strix OC
360mm Capellix AIO
1TB MP600 SSD
2TB MP600 SSD
64GB Dominator platinum RGB Ram @3600mhz
6 x 120 QL fans
4000X RGB case
850 Corsair Gold PSU
Rog strix dark hero viii motherboard
Upon receiving my pc I had issues with the iCue software and was advised by scan to do a clean install. When doing this it erased my custom fan curve profile. I have since been playing around with it for a few hours but wanted to see if my coolant temps were normal for this type of system. At idle I am getting around 36/37 degrees C When gaming I am getting around 42/43 degrees C (coolant temps)
My 360mm rad is front mounted with the fans mounted in front as intake. I have set up 2 custom fan profiles. One for my front intake fans mounted in front of the rad and the second profile for the 3 exhaust fans. On the custom fan curve I have raised the front intake fans 5% faster than the other 3 exhaust fans in my case-all at the same temps. I have 2 exhaust fans at the top of the case and 1 at the back. Is how I’ve set this up ok?
Can anyone share a custom fan curve they use for a similar set up?
Can anyone clarify if my coolant temps are ok in my system?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks 🙏
Hey, just wondering what's a good fan curve for the H150i Elite CAPELLIX XT, cooling a 7800X3D.
The case is a 5000D, 3 front intake, one exhaust in the back and the AIO on top as exhaust.
It's currently set to Balanced but I'd just like something a bit more aggressive when gaming.
I notice with the BF6 Beta that coolant can hit up to 36c pretty quickly and since I always use a headset, louder fans wouldn't bother me.
Usually hovers around 31c when not gaming.
Thanks.

Would this be a "good" fan curve in terms of noise and cooling performance or is there something you guys would change ?
My cpu is a ryzen 7 5800x with no manual overclock.
I have the H150i Pro RGB with latest iCUE and I am trying to determine if my fan speeds are what they are supposed to be. I find the following behavior odd:
In iCUE, I set the 3 radiator fans to EXTREME (pump fan is already on EXTREME and cannot be changed)
FAN#1: ~1170
FAN#2: ~1190
FAN#3: ~1900
Pump: ~1100 (never over 1200)
Are these RPM what I should be expected to see?
Should fans 1-3 more or less be around the same speed?
A friend of mine has the H115 and his overall RPM speeds are way over mine. I understand though they are not the same product and don't want to compare apples and oranges.
My CPU package temp at idle is hovering around 40-45 degrees C which seems 10-15 degrees too high.
I feel like perhaps my pump fan is somehow being confused as my fan 3. Does anyone have a baseline for what I should be seeing, or can corroborate whether this behavior is normal?
Thanks!
Something is wrong as on extreme the pump should be ranging around 2800/2900 rpm.. and how do you mean the pump cant be changed?.. iCue wont let you?
You are correct that the 3 fans themselves should roughly be the same speed. What does the coolant temperature reading within the software itself? If you change the performance to quiet and balanced do the fan speeds change accordingly?
So I'm completely lost on how to control these fans. In iCUE the only options are balanced and extreme..
How can I set custom fan speeds?
Trying to raise the RPM to get more airflow to my RAM because they're getting a little toasty.
